Tottenham Hotspur survived FA Cup scare against lower league opponents to progress into the fifth round of the competition. The North London giants had to come from behind to score four goals and beat English Championship outfit Wycombe Wanderers away from home at the fourth round stage of the competition. Wycombe Wanderers played hosts to Tottenham Hotspur at Adams Park in the last tie in the FA Cup fourth round this season and the bottom club in the English Championship gave Tottenham Hotspur a scare in the first half before manager Jose Mourinho and his players turned it around with the help of three second half goals.

Frenchman Tanguy Ndombele has had his problems under Jose Mourinho but he was the star player as he netted two late goals to propel his team to a comprehensive 4-1 win over the home team. Pochettino will take some positives on the mental fortitude of his side coming back twice in the game otherwise there is nothing to take from the game. The midfield was stark average and the difference between the two clubs was clear.
This season they haven’t opted to go searching for any player either during the summer or during the mid-season when the transfer window opened again and have been very content with the squad that they have at their disposal.
