    If he goes somewhere it must be some top club in England or Spain…and we all know which those are at this moment. Same goes for Bale. I doubt Tottenham will be able to keep them for much longer since they are not buying any new players. Plus Rednkapp is a manager for a small club, he has no clue about tactics…even said so himself.

    This guy is hugely underrated. Modric is defiantly up their with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta & pirlo. Hope man
    Utd can get him this summer. £40 mill?

    Yes but Real Madrid couldn’t beat Almeria, the bottom team in La Liga, and Barcelona lost to a division 2 team in Spain, Real Betis……

    @djevah Yes i see your point. But my argument, basically is there is less difference between the bottom team to the top team in the Premier League, that there is in La Liga, even you must accept that. Valencia have been more successful, as they have played in an easier league. Of course, Barca and Real Madrid would be in the top 4 in the Premier League, and only a psycho would say they wouldn’t, but they would not be winning every week like they do in La Liga. West Brom beat Arsenal 3-2 away.

    @oneilexpress That only means that West Brom had one good game. Nothing more. A one-off result is evidence of nothing. You cant use one offs to tell. If you did then Portuguese football is better than English football cos Sporting Braga beat Arsenal, and English football is better cos Man United beat Porto. See my point? Use trends over time not just cases in point. So say English football is better than Spanish football cos in the last five years…… etc. Now try again.

    @djevah West Brom who are in the bottom 3 in the premier league, hammered Man Utd who are top, yet lost 2-1. Show me evidence of Zaragoza hammering Barca.

    Now now, temper, temper….Premierhip teams generally being better was not my claim but yours, so its up to you to show the evidence. My claim was that Valencia was a big team and l showed the evidence. So your move next….

  9. oneilexpress

    @djevah Fuck off, show me the evidence that the La Liga teams are better than the Premiership ones. Your English is fantastic.

    The teams that get relegated in the Premier League, are better than those who go down from La Liga. It’s only in recent years that Barca and Real Madrid have become better than Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea. I hope Tottenham draw Valencia, then we will find out what happens.

    Tottenham have won two UEFA cups but this is their first Champions League appearance this season. They have fewer season ticket holders and they are not members of the G-14 so how are they smaller than Tottenham please tell!!

    @oneilexpress
    On what basis is Valencia a smaller club than Tottenham? What is the criteria? Valencia have won six La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey, two Fairs Cups, the predecessor to the UEFA Cup, one UEFA Cup, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and two UEFA Super Cups, reached two UEFA Champions League finals in 2000 and 2001. Valencia were also members of the G-14 group of leading European football clubs. In total, Valencia have reached seven major European finals, winning four of them!!!

    I never said it was a small club, i said it’s a SMALLER club that Tottenham. There would only be any point in him going to Barcelona, Madrid, Utd or Milan.
