According to MARCA, Premier League side Crystal Palace are plotting a move for Tottenham Hotspur forward Steven Bergwijn. The Dutch international appears to be on his way out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. Bergwijn joined Spurs in the 2020 January transfer window. He caught the eye with a match-winning debut against Manchester City but has failed to maintain the same level of performance regularly.


The 24-year-old made 32 appearances for Tottenham last season, scoring four goals and assisting twice. However, numbers do not tell the whole story, as his time on the pitch amounted to a meagre 871 minutes. The fact that Bergwijn was more or less a glorified substitute suggests that Antonio Conte does not consider him first XI material at Tottenham.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-Min have shared the Premier League Golden Boot award for this season after the two players finished on 23 goals. They scored at least five more goals than the next player on the list of the highest goalscorers.

The South Korean international scored a brace in the second half as Tottenham Hotspur thrashed hosts Norwich City 5-0 away from home to record their biggest away win of the season andseal fourth on the league table in style. Apart from Son, Swedish international DejanKulusevski also scored twice for Tottenham Hotspur with a goal in each half, while Harry Kane was responsible for the other goal via his first half header.

There are currently a lot of managers in world football at the moment who have achieved a lot with the teams they have either managed in the past or are currently managing at the moment. There have been several compilations and lists that have shown a ranking of these managers based on how much achievements they have amassed in their managerial careers. However, when the topic of who the best manager is in the world at the moment is brought up, there are two names that immediately spring up to mind; Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. These two managers have been hailed for the job they have done with their teams;? Manchester City and Liverpool respectively over the past couple of years and they do deserve to be top two on this list.

Italian tactician Conte made this known in a chat with reporters in his pre-march press conference on Wednesday ahead of the game billed for the King Power Stadium on Thursday night.

Reguilon suffered an injury during the Premier League clash with bottom team Norwich City almost two weeks ago and he had to come off during the first half of the game which ended in a 3-0 win for Tottenham Hotspur. While giving an update on Reguilon during his press conference, Conte said that the former Real Madrid and Sevilla player has been in training sessions in his bid to return to full fitness, but he’s not sure if the Spaniard would be involved in the Leicester City game.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon is a target for Brighton and Hove Albion as they bid to replace Arsenal target Ben White in their squad. According to The Sun, Brighton boss Graham Potter wants to take Welsh international Rodon on loan for the season.

Rodon was one of the best players for Wales as they reached the first knockout stage at the Euro 2020 tournament before they were beaten by eventual semi-finalists Denmark.
