Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has stated that Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon is a big doubt ahead of the Premier League clash at Leicester City. Italian tactician Conte made this known in a chat with reporters in his pre-march press conference on Wednesday ahead of the game billed for the King Power Stadium on Thursday night.

Reguilon suffered an injury during the Premier League clash with bottom team Norwich City almost two weeks ago and he had to come off during the first half of the game which ended in a 3-0 win for Tottenham Hotspur. While giving an update on Reguilon during his press conference, Conte said that the former Real Madrid and Sevilla player has been in training sessions in his bid to return to full fitness, but he’s not sure if the Spaniard would be involved in the Leicester City game.

Tottenham Hotspur have pulled out of talks to make Antonio Conte their new manager according to Sky Sports. The two parties had been in discussion over the past few days on the vacant managerial job at Spurs.

The North London club is in the market for a new manager after Jose Mourinho was dismissed in April after a disappointing season. Mourinho was sacked by Spurs around a week before the Carabao Cup final which ended in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City thanks to the late goal from Aymeric Laporte.
