SPURS CHASE SOLDADO

Roberto Soldado has said that the English Club, Tottenham Hotspur, wanted to sign him and the authorities of the club had tried to contact his agent a few days ago. But, he rejected the offer of the English club and decided to continue playing for his club Valencia. Soldado said that he doesn’t want to leave Valencia at the moment and he would like to finish his contract with the Spanish club. Soldado’s contract with Valencia is going to finish in 2017 which means that the Spanish striker is not in a mood to leave Valencia in the near future.

Soldado joined Valencia in 2010. He made his debut for Valencia against Bursaspor and in his very first match for the club, he scored a goal. In his very first season for Valencia, Soldado produced a number of match winning performances.  Soldado’s brilliant performances helped Valencia to qualify for the Champions League. Soldado continued to shine for Valencia in the last season as well. He scored a total of 25 goals in the last season. Due to his consistent performances, his contract was extended by the club for the next 5 years in June 2012.
